I guess little Graciella has a new thing for sucking on a finger and then sticking it in your nose. I hope she's not learning this habit at day care.

Also, she's really big on kissing you on the mouth with hers open! It's sooo funny. Tonight I had my head turned so she would kiss me on the cheek, but she had other plans and grabbed my head and turned it to kiss me on the lips! Silly girl.

Sean had told me about an article that he had read while at his doctor’s office. It said to write down three things that you were grateful for that had happened that day at the end of each day. Supposedly, if you do this it will help you with sleeping better, loosing weight, being a happier person, and other great things.

Today two of my three deal with Grace: 1. The sound of Sean and Grace playing with each other. And 2. The sound of Grace sleeping peacefully (she snores sometimes, it’s so precious).

Grace has been lying down for bedtime really well lately. Of course she has her days where it’s a little rougher than others, but in general she’s a really good girl. Sometimes I can even lay her down when she looks wide awake and she’ll put herself to sleep! Sean has done such a great job with her. It’s been so hard to work nights for me because I worry so much about her evening is going to go. But recently the most of the anxiety has lifted.

Anyways, last night I was having a little bit of a rough time with putting her to sleep. So Sean took over and had no problem laying her down. But after she would cry out about every half hour or so. Sean would go to her, she would go back to sleep, but the problem continued. It wasn’t until we were ready for bed that I went to comfort her. And then she was quiet for the rest of the night. She loves her mommy. It mad me feel so good to think that she didn’t want to go to sleep for the night until I came and said goodnight to her one last time.

Grace is 1 year, 1 month, and a day shy of 2 weeks old! She's such a big girl now. It's amazing how fast she has grown. I always knew it would happen fast but i guess i didn't realize how fast! She's such a big girl, and smart too! She makes her parents proud!
